Jane Eyre

I cannot thank you enough Caroline- your comment has had me brimming with ideas for posts!
It just shows- the idea comments seriously help me. Keep them coming!
One of my all-time favourite books is Jane Eyre. Some quotes from it are below. If you've never read it, here's a feel of what the book is like. If you have, get ready to get swept away again...

"Why was I always suffering, always brow-beaten, always accused, for ever condemned?"

"No reflection was to be allowed now, not once glance was to be cast back, not even one forward."
"Come to me, come to me entirely now," said he, and added, in his deepest tone, speaking in my ear as his cheek was laid on mine, "Make my happiness, I will make yours."

"The child is very young to be sent alone," said she, putting her candle on the table."

"I know what it is to live entirely for and with who I love best on Earth."
Thanks for reading!

  1. Aw don't thank me x) im sure you would have had heaps of ideas anyway. is this book hard to read? have you read to kill a mockingbird? I think it was very very different to what I usually read but towards the end of the book it was so intense I found myself holding my breath...
We talked about this novel in my enhanced english class and the story of her (the author's) family is soo sad :(
